Location and area

There is probably no better place to study than in the city with the oldest and most prestigious university in the western world.
The University of Bologna, founded in 1088, is the first university in Europe and one of the oldest in the world. The university has over 84,000 students and was the first university in Italy to offer degrees in art, music and the performing arts.
Bologna is one of the most popular locations for foreign students due to the wide range of degrees and master courses that are taught in English.
The strategic location, close to both the university and public transport facilities, makes it very suitable for offering (international) students temporary housing. The distance between the site and the old city centre is 15 minutes.

Apartments

This complex offers modern individual studios equipped with everything you need: a 120 cm bed, a desk and chair, storage space, shelves, a kitchen, a fridge/freezer and a shared bathroom for two or a private bathroom for Smart and Deluxe Studios. This complex has a total of 532 apartments, 500 of which have a single bed and 32 of which have a double bed.

Sustainability

This complex is a model of sustainability and energy efficiency. The building is newly constructed, LEED Gold certified and has an EPC ‘A’ certification, which underlines its strong energy performance. We have assessed the sustainability using the CRREM tool and analysed physical climate risks via the AXA Climate’s Altitude platform. This complex is on track to meet the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement until 2050, which contributes to long-term sustainability. To achieve these goals, the Bologna location will be fully supplied with renewable energy. Despite possible future challenges such as extreme heat and water stress, recent renovations and active asset management ensure that these risks are effectively mitigated.

Living concept

This complex offers modern communal areas that are attractive to students. The co-work promotes a productive learning environment, while lounges provide relaxation. Various sports facilities support a healthy lifestyle, and the laundry offers extra convenience. These facilities make students’ lives more comfortable and help them find a good balance between study and relaxation.
