Rockfield wint Gamechanger award

Amsterdam 15 June 2022 – This year, Bloxs Software presented the Gamechanger awards during the first day at PROVADA. At the PROVADA Future innovation plaza, Rockfield Real Estate emerged as the winner in the Data-Analytics category. Rockfield Real Estate is a young and dynamic real estate developer, investment manager and property manager. As an expert in affordable housing in urban environments, Rockfield focuses on a sustainable and pleasant living and working environment in the Netherlands. In the field of data analytics, Rockfield is progressive and innovative which made them the rightful winner; according to the jury.

Analysing data from across the organisation
The award is presented by Bas Janssen, account manager at Bloxs Software. According to Bas Janssen, the award for Rockfield was more than deserved. ‘Rockfield Real Estate and Bloxs have been working together for several years and we are both developing at lightning speed. In the field of Data analytics, they excelled last year! Rockfield knows how to connect data from across the organisation, various systems and processes like no other. With the insight they gain, they are better at reporting and forecasting to the investment funds, while the quality towards tenants is also improving. Even the information from, for example, technical malfunctions in current properties helps them make choices for future developments!’

Working incredibly hard with the whole team
Moreno Monsanto, Director Concepts, at Rockfield Real Estate, along with Sander van Essen and Thijs Barten, proudly receive the award. ‘It is absolute recognition for the work we have worked incredibly hard for as a team. We set out with a clear vision and trained several BI specialists. Starting with the basics, we first made sure our source data was absolutely correct, then we started building dashboards. These dashboards gave us more insight but also generated more follow-up questions, so we continued to refine. The result is that we now have much faster answers to questions, the pressure on employees has dropped tremendously as a result, which also makes us very scalable. My colleagues have better insight and get into a flow with a focus on what we care about and enjoy, which is working for tenants and investors.’

Anticipate and optimise
Rockfield Real Estate works daily with around 10 dashboards, which include as many as 50 reports, with financial and technical data as well as commercial data such as occupancy and vacancy rates. These are constantly updated and sent to employees automatically, so they no longer rely on spreadsheets and employees filling them. Remarkably, Rockfield’s portfolio does not have a day’s vacancy. Moreno explains: When tenants move, we have 27 hours to put the units back in order. Now we have insight into the work we can expect and can anticipate this. That makes the mutations a lot smoother and contributes positively to tenant satisfaction.
